Unique permit – digital mobile worker (digital nomad) is a residence route in Albania (Digitale Nomaden). Remote work for foreign employer/clients; income ≥ Albanian minimum wage (ALL 50,000/mo from Apr 2026) or ALL 300,000 deposit; fee ALL 4,500 (renewal 2,250). 1 yr, renewable up to 5 times.

You need an annual income of about CHF 5'820. You must spend about 183 days a year in the country to keep it. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 7 years.
