Unique permit – digital mobile worker (digital nomad) is a residence route in Albania (Ψηφιακός νομάδας). Remote work for foreign employer/clients; income ≥ Albanian minimum wage (ALL 50,000/mo from Apr 2026) or ALL 300,000 deposit; fee ALL 4,500 (renewal 2,250). 1 yr, renewable up to 5 times.

Tax residence in Albania

Tax residence can arise from having a residence in Albania under its Civil Code, or spending more than 183 days there within a 365-day period.
