General Work Visa (points-based) / Intra-company Transfer / Trusted Employer Scheme is a residence route in South Africa (취업). Job offer; Dept of Labour certification or points-based assessment (salary, qualifications, experience, age; introduced from 2024 regulations, rolled out 2025-26). ICT visa for group transfers. Trusted Employer Scheme (Phase II July 2026) speeds visas for vetted firms. PR after 5 yrs (s.26(a)). DHA fee ZAR 1,520 per applicant.
Requirements at a glance
There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 10 years.
