Red-White-Red Card for self-employed key workers is a residence route in Austria (起業家). AMS must confirm macro-economic benefit: e.g. transfer of ≥€100,000 investment capital, creating/securing jobs, or regional importance; business plan, own income, housing, health insurance. No quota, no points. Family gets RWR Card plus. Fee €218 pp.

Requirements at a glance

The minimum qualifying investment is about CHF 94'000. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 10 years.

Worldwide income, progressive up to 55%; company profits 23% CIT + 27.5% on distributions
