Latvian/Livonian descent – repatriation & citizenship registration is a residence route in Latvia (Ascendance). Descendants of pre-1940 Latvian citizens can register as citizens (dual allowed with EU/EFTA/NATO etc.); ethnic Latvians/Livs with B1 Latvian can register/repatriate. Residence permits also available on Latvian-origin ground.
Requirements at a glance
