EU/EEA/Swiss free movement – registration certificate is a residence route in Lithuania (EU / EFTA vapaa liikkuvuus). EU/EEA/Swiss citizens staying >3 months register with Migration Dept; show work, self-employment or sufficient resources + health insurance. Non-EU spouse/child get 5-yr family member residence card. Fee ~EUR 10–30.

Requirements at a glance

There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 10 years.
