Permanent Residence by Investment (Residencia Permanente en Calidad de Inversionista)

Permanent Residence by Investment is a residence route in Dominican Rep. (Inversor / golden visa). ≥US$200,000 foreign investment registered with ProDominicana (ex-CEI-RD, Law 16-95): company capital, or real estate/financial instruments (property via registered investment). First card 1 yr, then 4-yr renewals; 3% transfer tax on property. Gov fees ~US$1,000/person.

Requirements at a glance

The minimum qualifying investment is about CHF 160'000. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after ya years. Citizenship can be possible after about 0.5 years.
