Visa-free stay (up to 1 year) is a residence route in Georgia (Άλλο). Citizens of ~95 countries may stay 365 days visa-free; reset by exit/re-entry. Since 1 Mar 2026 working or running a business on visa-free status requires a work permit + D1 visa/residence.
Requirements at a glance
There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included.

183 days → tax resident; territorial: foreign dividends untaxed, GE dividends 5%.
