Work Permit (employment) is a residence route in Botswana (Робота за наймом). Employer job offer, localisation/understudy plan, qualifications; Immigration Act 2011; combined work & residence processing. Strict localisation policy.
Requirements at a glance
There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 10 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 10 years.

Resident ≥183 days: Botswana-source income taxed (max 25%); foreign interest & dividends of residents deemed Botswana-source and taxed
