Legal Permanent Residence is a residence route in Uruguay (Bağımsız gelir). Proof of means of living (rentista, pensioner, employee, company owner); no legal minimum, ~US$1,500/mo single, ~US$2,500-3,000 family in practice. Police records, health card, birth cert. Can apply in-country as tourist; provisional cédula meanwhile. Optional 2-yr temporary first. Gov fees ~US$125/person.
