Kandas (ethnic Kazakh) status is a residence route in Kazakhstan (Härkomst). Ethnic Kazakhs returning from abroad obtain kandas status, permanent residence and simplified citizenship (renunciation of other citizenship required).
Requirements at a glance
Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after nu years. Citizenship can be possible after about 1 years.
