EU Blue Card / temporary residence and work permit (employment) is a residence route in Poland (Angajare). Single permit: Polish employer, contract, labour-market test for some roles. Blue Card: degree/5 yrs experience, salary ≥150% of prior-year avg wage (~PLN 13,000 gross/mo in 2026, est.). Directors of own Polish company can use the work route.
Requirements at a glance
You need an annual income of about CHF 34'500. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 8 years.
