Temporary Residence with job offer (work permit) is a residence route in Mexico (Emprego). Employer with INM registration (constancia) files job-offer petition; applicant gets visa at consulate. 50% card-fee reduction for job-offer cases from 2026. Gov fees ~MXN 6,200/person.
Requirements at a glance
There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 4 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
