Residence Card – Self-Sufficient / Retiree is a residence route in Morocco (Meios próprios). Apply at local DGSN/prefecture within 90 days of entry (Law 02-03): proof of stable foreign income/pension (no fixed figure; ~EUR 1,500/mo cited) via Moroccan bank certificate, lease/title, criminal record, medical certificate. Renew 60 days before expiry. Card fee ~MAD 100 (stamp) per person.

Requirements at a glance

You need an annual income of about CHF 16'900. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 4 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
