Work permit (skilled) + work visa is a residence route in Jersey (Emprego). Employer applies to Jersey Customs & Immigration for skilled work permit (salary threshold per work-permit policy, exemptions in Appendix 3), ~3 weeks; then UK-administered visa. Up to 3 yrs, extendable; ILR after 5 yrs; housing restricted (Registered status).
