Tax residence in Cyprus

60 days + Cyprus home + Cyprus job/business/directorship, no other tax residence, ≤183 days in any other state

Non-dom: no SDC on foreign dividends/interest 17 of 20 yrs; residence assessed per calendar year

Residence certificate: Tax Dept TRC under 183- or 60-day rule (proof of days, home, employment/directorship)

Your previous country applies its own residence tests separately. If both countries treat you as resident, the applicable tax treaty may resolve treaty residence.

Requirements at a glance
