Registration of an EU citizen's right of residence (incl. Swiss) is a residence route in Finland (Fri bevegelighet EU / EFTA). Register with Migri within 3 months: work, self-employment, or sufficient funds + health insurance. Non-EU family members apply for residence card. Fee ≈€60 per person online (approx).

There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 8 years.
