Certified net worth ≥ZAR 12m (assets minus liabilities, audited by CA(SA)); ZAR 120,000 payable to DHA on approval; spouse & dependent children included. PR lapses if absent >3 consecutive years. Fee regulations amended Aug 2026 – check fee. DHA application fee ZAR 1,520 per applicant.
