Citizenship by investment (special economic interest) is a residence route in North Macedonia (투자 시민권). EUR 400,000 direct investment in new company (not hospitality/retail) creating ≥10 jobs, or EUR 200,000 into approved private fund (practically untested). Draft law (Jun 2026) would scrap thresholds for case-by-case national interest.

The minimum qualifying investment is about CHF 188'000. There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Citizenship can be possible after about 0 years.
