Residence permit for other purposes / private means (§7(1) AufenthG) is a residence route in Germany (경제적 자립). Discretionary permit for wealthy/retired persons with secure means and health insurance; no fixed amount; national D-visa first (except visa-free nationals). PR needs 60 months pension contributions (or equivalent provision). Fees: visa €75 + permit €100 per adult (half for children).
