Highly Skilled Professional (incl. J-Skip) is a residence route in Japan (就労). Points ≥70 (academic, business-management or specialist) (points route: salary ≥JPY 3m) or J-Skip: master's + JPY 20m income / 10 yrs experience + JPY 20m; HSP(iii) business managers need JPY 3m+ investment. PR after 1 yr at 80 pts, 3 yrs at 70. Gov fees ~JPY 28,000 for family.
Requirements at a glance
You need an annual income of about CHF 16'200. There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 1 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
