Work Permit (incl. company shareholders/directors) is a residence route in Turkey (Emploi). Employer/own Turkish company applies to Ministry of Labour; company criteria (capital/turnover/5 Turkish employees per foreigner) and minimum salary multiples apply. Work permit doubles as residence. Gov fees ~USD 1,250 for family.
Requirements at a glance
There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 8 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
