Non-Immigrant O (marriage/family) is a residence route in Thailand (Perhe). Spouse of Thai: THB 400,000 deposit or THB 40,000/month income; dependants of work-permit/LTR holders follow principal. Visa fee THB 2,000; 1-yr extension THB 1,900/person.
Requirements at a glance
You need an annual income of about CHF 11'800. There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 3 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
How holders are taxed
Remitted foreign income taxable if resident 180+ days.
