Residence for persons of Lithuanian descent / citizenship restoration is a residence route in Lithuania (Syntyperä). Persons of Lithuanian descent can obtain permanent residence without prior TRP; descendants of citizens before 15 Jun 1940 may restore citizenship (dual allowed if ancestor left before 1990). Documentary proof of descent required.

Requirements at a glance

There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after heti years.
