Investor Visa for Italy is a residence route in Italy (Sijoittaja- / kultainen viisumi). €250k in an innovative startup, €500k in an Italian company, €1m philanthropic donation or €2m Italian government bonds; nulla osta from MIMIT committee (~30 days), invest within 3 months of arrival; 2-yr permit, renewable 3 yrs. Requirements at a glance

The minimum qualifying investment is about CHF 235'000. There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 10 years.
