EU/EEA/Swiss free movement – registration certificate is a residence route in Latvia (Libre circulación UE / AELC). EU/EEA/Swiss citizens staying >3 months register with PMLP; show work or sufficient resources + insurance. Non-EU family get 5-yr residence card. Fee ~EUR 10–30.

There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 10 years.
