Right of residence for EU/EEA and Swiss citizens (population registration) is a residence route in Sweden (EU / EFTA free movement). No permit needed. Register with Skatteverket (folkbokföring) if staying ≥1 yr: show work, self-employment, or sufficient means + comprehensive health insurance (self-sufficient). Non-EU spouse/child get a free residence card from Migrationsverket.

There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 8 years.
