EU/EEA/Swiss free movement is a residence route in France (EU / EFTA free movement). No permit required (Swiss may request one); non-active: sufficient resources + health insurance (PUMa after 3 months). Naturalisation 5 yrs + French B2 (since 2026).

There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
