Skilled Worker visa (incl. self-sponsorship via own UK company) is a residence route in United Kingdom (Απασχόληση). Job offer from licensed sponsor at RQF 6 (degree level) since 22 Jul 2025; salary ≥ £41,700 or going rate; English B2 (Jan 2026). Owners may sponsor themselves via a genuinely trading UK company holding a sponsor licence. Visa £819–1,618 + IHS; employer pays CoS £525 + Skills Charge.
Requirements at a glance
You need an annual income of about CHF 44'600. There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 6 years.
