Citizenship by Descent / Reacquisition is a residence route in Moldova (Καταγωγή). Citizenship without residence for persons whose parents, grandparents or great-grandparents were born in Moldova's territory; dual citizenship allowed. Often a step to Romanian citizenship by reacquisition.
