EU/EFTA free movement – residence without gainful activity (B EU/EFTA) is a residence route in Switzerland (Volný pohyb EU / ESVO). EU/EFTA citizen: register with commune within 14 days; prove sufficient means (above social-assistance level, guideline ~CHF 30–40k/yr per family) and Swiss health insurance (KVG). C permit after 5 yrs for most EU-17/EFTA. Gov fees ~CHF 400 (family of 3).
